Rachel Aldrich-Whalen - UES

Rachel has been working and teaching in Vermont schools since graduating UVM in 2007.  For the last 10 years, UES has been her home as both a kindergarten teacher and now as a literacy interventionist.  Becoming an interventionist has allowed her to lean into her love of small group instruction and using data to inform that instruction.  She is currently enrolled in a master’s program through SNHU and is pursuing a degree in educational leadership and is on an administrative pathway.  Rachel lives in Barre with her husband and daughter, but never passes up a chance to be on the mid-coast of Maine.
