Leah Shoaff - UES

Leah has been teaching in grades K-6 since 2004, as a classroom teacher and, now, as a math interventionist. In 2018, Leah and her family joined the MRPS community, moving back to Vermont after a decade in San Francisco. This summer, she will graduate from the Vermont Mathematics Initiative master’s of education program with a focus on math content, instruction, research, and leadership. When Leah is not at UES, she spends her time with Nathaniel and their two kids, Oliver and Judah. She does not believe in the myth of the math person; we are all people and we all think mathematically.
